Hey this template is not working well..
http://money4ru.googlepages.com/aaa.JPG
this is how it looks after changing..
template needs to be modified…
sad to see this is goal certified
That’s the same look I got. Really wish this would work properly.
Probaly you dont upload the images that came with the template’s stuff… beside, you must insert any gadget on sidebars too. On my blog that’s all ok (less the date…)
Coffee desk is an awesome template!
I have no link for comments and no quick edit for posts. I have tried everything! (6 hours+) I have checked everything thoroughly, Is anyone else having this issue?
I need help
Thank you
I finally figured it out! Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I had made some changes in the page elements section. That is where I was not looking. I need sleep.
You can disregard this message………….
Thanks for an awesome template!
Hello,
Could you give some input on this post I wrote in Bloggers Publishing group. This method I just used is working like a charm, and could be very helpful to many people who have there own server, but there has to be the good and bad with what I have done regarding the index.html file.
Could you kindly give me some input?
By the way, I like my coffee black

My post on Blogger
Your input is very appreciated.
Thank You
My link above is to my site is not working properly and I also put target = new on both links, neither opening in a new window. Could you please fix.
Thank you
Thanks for your report! For the Link List gadget, which is the gadget you currently use to configure the navigation menu, the link can only be opened in current page.
Hope this helps!

Hi!
This template works on the assumption that there will be enough posts on the left to balance the widgets on the right. If there are less posts on the left, the rings don’t get displayed fully don the middle of the diary.
Can the code be changed somehow to repeat the ring image?
You can check this on my blog which I have linked. Click on any individual post title and you will see what I mean.
Regards
aditya
Does this work with Safari?
Seems the top of the Journal – image – doesn’t show?
I’ve finally figured out how to switch everything over to the Coffee Desk format, but I have lost my Blogger bar at the very top of the page where I go choose dashboard, sign in, etc. Can you help with this?
Thanks so much.
Disregard my previous comment. I figured out how to find and fix it. Thanks anyway.
How did you fix it?
I’m having the same problme
I’d like an answer to this as well. I’ve just about gone blind getting all the images in and the page looked okay but had 2 odd posts I hadn;t created that were making it look okay but I didn’t like what was in the posts, peculiar things, and I deleted those 2 random posts and the whole template collapsed on itself. I read above that it needs to have enough posts for the template to show right and I’ll work on that, but I really need that blogger bar. Also, my title overlaps the description. I’m hoping this will open up as posts are added….
Thanks for the help. I hope it doesn;t take 3 days!
Maitri L.
Ok, I viewed Jubiliee’s source code to figure out how to get the Blogger bar at the top (Thanks Jubilee!) I’ve done the first post and it has a big red UNDEFINED across the date and the date won’t show up even though I’ve set it up via the directions here at the top. The only thing different is that I don’t have the option to put the number BEFORE the month as some other countries do. I can only do Saturday, March 29, 2009, but Jubilee’s template looks great, the numbers show up right for the date, and she had no UNDEFINED showing up.
Ugh. Back to the drawing board…
But I really do love the template. Thanks so much…
Maitri. L
Did you figure out how to get the UNDEFINED to go away? I have the same problem, and I cannot choose the format as stated at the top of this page.
May I know how to get the dashboard to show up please? I tried to view jubilee’s code but it seems she has changed her layout.
Thanks very much.
this template is very hard to use
Thanks for your great comment! Can I invite you to point out your difficulties on using this template, so we can improve this template for easier user experience? Thank you!
Alvaris Falcon
The templete doesn’t work. I download the zip., but I can’t open the file.
I have checked and it can be opened properly, can you try again? Thank you!
Alvaris Falcon
Hi admin. I can’t find the “YOUR-LIN-HERE” on the xml file but it seems to show your links to photobucket. Can I retain that or do I still need to upload it on my end? Thanks!
Hi Kristin Hope,
Thanks for the report! I feel a need to confirm to you that you are changing the ‘Timestamp Format’ but not ‘DateHeader Format’, thank you!
Alvaris Falcon
Glad for the conversations posted here. I was having a problem with the UNDEFINED showing up also because I was changing the ‘DateHeader Format’ option and not the ‘Timestamp Format’. Once I changed the correct one it worked like a charm.
Not sure how they got the Blogger bar to show up at the top, but I will generally just add a text link to my home page somewhere in the sidebar and it works the same. Or I’ve often added it to the footer of the page, which gives it a more non-blogger/more professional feel.
where is the time stamp format? I still get the UNDEFINED showing up..
yeah I can’t find it either???
nevermind.
hello…
dear admin i really wan to use this template .but how..plz help me
Nice to meet you, thanks for your comment! Can I know what’s the help you need? Thanks and hope I can help!
Alvaris Falcon
Hi, I love this template!
Though somehow, i’ve lost the adminstration bar at the top. Also, there is no edit your post option (the one with the pen icon), I went into posts setting (under page elements) and checked the box for “show edit posts option”… but still it doesn’t show up. I also noticed that the pen icon is not even in the images folder provided with this template.
Can someone please help me to fix the above.. thanks.
AND.. for those who want their “rings” to continue (regardless of length of either left or right side), I’ve figured it out.. PM me for solution…
I don’t see a way to email you for the solution. Can you post it? I’ve been using the template for months and I did something today to make the rings disappear. Appreciate the help!
I tried to PM you too but your blog is private. I’d love to know how you did it too. Thanks!

I love this template and have been using it since May. I would like to add my logo to the template in place of the Title with the plain arial font. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!
I can’t get the undefined to go away
Please help! I’ve set the date stamp the correct way.

sometimes i scare myself. *sigh* i figured it out. i was changing the wrong thing.
Well, I found this Coffee Desk Blogger template beautifull and usefull. I m using with wordpress and everything is ok, embedded videos, write post, made new templates pages and so on and seams to work perfectly. I proved with Ie7, FFox 3 and no problem at all.
¿Did I miss something? Anyway thanks to the author for such a lovely template.
Really thanks for your very precious comment, I appreciate it very, very much.

Love this template! It’s gorgeous! I have one issue, though. I created a fake blog to make sure I could get it to work right before I put it on my real blog. It works perfectly on the fake blog, so I copied the html from the fake and loaded it onto my real blog. It’s great except that my title is in the wrong place and the dates aren’t on the cute little tags. Can you help me fix it?
Fake blog where it works: http://www.jodiebaileybook.blogspot.com
Real blog: http://www.jodiebailey.blogspot.com
Thanks so much!
Thanks for your praise, I appreciate it very much!
Sure, thought that’s an error through the code copying, can I invite you to describe to me your code copying process? I can help you based on your precious description.
Thanks for the patience, keep it up (and a nice novel blog)!
Alvaris Falcon
I highlighted, cut from the html of one blog and pasted to the html of the other. That’s it. I went through the sections of the html where the problem seems to be, and they match. I didn’t read it all, though.
Thanks!
Hello.
Lovely template. The one trouble I’m having is, when I downloaded the template and inserted it into my blog, I lost the paper clip links at the top of the page, ie the ones titled “Home”, etc.
Any advice? Thanks!
I’m still getting the UNDEFINED problem even thougth i had change the timestamp format.
Can you help me, please?????
I OPENED THE XML PAGE, BUT THERE IS NOTHING THERE BUT A DOT (.)

Sorry for the late reply, I have visited your blog and saw that you’re using other Blogger template, all the best!
Alvaris
I like it on my blog. the problem is from a 3 column template it became 2 column.
Please help.
I LOVE this template and design. It is absolutely a picture of “me” online. I had the undefined issue but got that figured out.
I am moving from wordpress to blog*spot for hosting my domain. I had several pages at WordPress, and began adding posts with the content of these pages – and linking to them in the menu feature. I love the resulting look of the menu feature.
However, since I added these “links” to the menu feature, my two right sidebars have moved to the bottom of my page underneath my posts. Can you help me?
Thanks so much!
I inadevertantly – out of habit – used my wordpress link for my website. ack! My new site is: http://www.thequeenmommy.com where I’ve uploaded the Coffee Desk template.
I’ve played around with the template & got it to work. My only issue is that on the few posts I do have the punctuation has been skewed. If I go in to edit the posts themselves, everything is fine. This is a new issue, as there were no problems with my old format.
Suggestions are welcome!
Thanks!
Hello,
I’ve found the xml part for one of my blogs but now I’m opening loads of the templates and when I find an xml I can’t copy it or upload it.
I’m using blogger for a site and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
Why can’t I get an xml file for my favourite templates? (I found loads of great ones by the way!!!) and why can’t I copy it when I have one?
Please help me for these – ink stain / green light/ red light and theater room.
thanks
Hi,
I’ve been using the template for a few months with no problems, but recently I saw the error Photobucket Bandwidth Exceeded all over my blog, blocking out all the images. I tried re-saving the images under my username on photobucket, but now the template does not show up correctly on my blog. Specifically, the placemat at the top and the leaf at the bottom. Can you please help me fix this?
Thanks!
Hi,
The download button for this template keeps giving this message:
“The compressed (something) is invalid or corrupted.”
I’d like to upload it to my blogger blog, but I can’t even get it to download!
When I unzip the file, WHICH file should I upload? (When it’s fixed, that is!)
Thanks for your precious report!
I have checked the download button and the file is working properly, can you kindly tell us what’s the browser you used to download the file?
You can download the file to enjoy the Coffee Desk Blogger template, thanks for your patience and visit!
Alvaris
So here’s my problem….while I am no stranger to code, for the life of me I cannot for the life of me get the Timestamp code to properly sync with my blog entry times. Every blog I have on my page is listed as January 2nd.
Well I have looked at source codes of other pages trying to figure out where the little demon is hiding that is preventing my date to format properly and I’ve been looking at codes since 5:15 this evening and it is now 10:41pm with absolutely no luck!
SO……….I am asking the guru’s who created this marvelous site that appears it was created just for me, to please, oh please oh please….tell me where this little critter is hiding so I can fix it.
Oh yeah, and I did read through each and every comment thread and my settings are properly set, yet the date is still incorrect. AAAAAAAAAAAhhhh.
And a word of note to all those above who commented that they fixed it….it would be most helpful to others when you find the “cure-all” to post what you did to fix it so that others can benefit from it as well.
OK…nough said…HELP…S.O.S.
Okay, I’m ready to help! First of all, you need to download the template from this post and upload it to your blog, then please confirm that you’re changing the ‘Timestamp format’ but not ‘DateHeader format’.
This must solve your issue, all the best!
Alvaris
Hello, from Portugal!
I wonder if you could please help me.
)
I thank you for this template: perfect!… I’ve change to it a few days ago.
Everything is working fine and I was able to solve some little doubts by reading in here ( like the red ‘undefined’ thing! …
What I could not solve until now is the QUICK EDIT function missing!!
I still have it at the sidebar widgets and in the template dashboard, but not in the posts. Even the pencil is missing.
By reading I understand that some more are having the same problem, but could it be fixed? and how?
Can you please give me a hand?! I’m trying hardly by myself for two days and I’m almost getting crazy with this!!!
Itá a really important and useful function so please help me putting to work, please!!!
Thank you so much!!
PS – pardon my bad english, please!
Pleaseeee…..
Can somebody help me with the problem I report above???…
Thanks in advnace!!!
M.
Thanks for your precious report!
I have fixed the issue and re-upload the template to the server, you can download the template again and re-upload it to your blog to display the quick edit function.
All the best!
Alvaris
Hiya,
I am currently using this template, quite successfully. I REALLY like it. Thanks very much. The thing is, some of the people who are using this template have the little tags up the top… they look like little bits of paper pinned right up the top of the page. I was of the understanding they would only work with WordPress, though some of the links here are with Blogger, and they have the tags. How do I get/create them? I am using Blogger.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Nice to meet you, glad that you like the template!
Yes, can I have a blog address to see what’s the feature you mentioned and would like to have? Thank you!
Alvaris
Hi again,
Thanks for the quick response. The best example is from Jodie, in her post earler.
“Fake blog where it works: http://www.jodiebaileybook.blogspot.com
Real blog: http://www.jodiebailey.blogspot.com”
In her fake blog, there are no tags up the top. In her real blog, there are tags, one of which is fiction.
Thanks again.
I see, thanks for the example!
Sure, you can follow the ‘Set up the Navigation Menu’ section in this post to create the little tags up the top, which would link to any web address you set.
Hope this helps, all the best!
Alvaris
Oh my goodness, it worked! Thank-you so much. I had looked at that previously and thought “huh???” I added in a link and it came up with a little tag at the top. That is so cool.
Thanks again.
Hello, Alvaris
Just got home and you can’t imagine how happy I felt when I got to the PC and saw your reply!…
I have to make a back up of my widgets and I’m going to re-upload the template as your recommended.
Let you know then, ok?!
Thank your very, very much for your prompt help!

Hello again, Alvaris
Just to let you know that you’re a genius: finally I got the QUICK EDIT feature in my Coffee Desk template!!
And it’s working just fine.
Once again, thank you very much for your help
Have a nice week!

Hi, from Portugal
I wonder if anybody who’s using Coffee Desk template is having problems using the new blogger “After Jump” feature.
I have got the botton in my post editor. I click to use it and it appears in both edition modes (Text and HTML)
The thing is that when I publish the “read more” link (or another similar) is not visible in the blog and so readers can’t possibly guess that there’s more to read.
One more thing, if I click at the post title and then go this single and particular post page I can read the full text I’ve wrote. But that doesn’t solve the problem since I don’t think readers would do it if they are already reading it at the home page and since they don’t have no indication that there’s more to read.
I would be great to use this hidden text feature, now that Blogger finally supports it.
Can anyone please help me with this??
Thank you, once more!!!
Margarida C.
Hello????
Is there still anybody there??
Can someone, please, give me a hand with this “After Jump / hide and show post” thing I explained above???
Thank you,
I’d be grateful!!
Margarida
Hi,
first of all many thanks for the provsion of such kind and professional support to us beginners. For me, this blog template is of best quality. Except for one or two issues (I use blogger.com):
- the search widget in the pen does not work
- I can’t get rid of the “undefined”
- I can’t get the “time stamps” widgets at the blog entry working (no option to enter a widget there in blogger?)
It looks like I am quite far away to understand potential solutions for such issues. Hopefully, I don’t bother you to much with that?
…. I can’t?
Well …
I can!
It was my “last effort” which brought me to the time stamp setting of the “settings” “format” page. The only thing I had to do was to select a setting, which includes a date format as well.
So, not very many issues left open – everything solved…
Sure, glad that you solved every issue, congratulations and enjoy blogging!
Alvaris
I love this template and would really like to use it, but for some reason label, followers and archive gadgets don’t appear at all. I have little knowledge of computers (and english, which makes this kind of difficult) and could do with some help on this.
Thanks,
Akasha
Thanks Akasha for your report, can I get your blog address to know the issue further? Thank you!
Alvaris
Oh gosh I managed to get my hands on my brother’ computer and it worked there, so the problem is in my computer and not in the template. Sorry!
Thanks for everything!
(I loved this template!!! =D)

Hi, from Portugal
PLEASEEEEE… Can someone HELP ME??
I’m using the Coffee Desk template but I’m having problems with the blogger’s “After Jump” feature.
You know, that feature that let you “Show/Hide” parts of the post, adding the “READ MORE” or similar line, the one that comes with the “After Jump” bottom in the Rich Format Text of the blogger editor…
I have got the botton in my blogger post editor.
PLEASE help me with this!!!
Thank you, once more!!!

Hi, congratulations on such a great page! This template in particular is beautiful; I downloaded it and am very happy showing it off hahaha! Thing is, I’m kind of new to blogging…so maybe I’m missing something because the “About me” section doesn’t show…should it be like that when using this template? any comments or advice?
Thanks!
