Green Light Layout

Seting up the Top Navigation
Customize your navigation link to your own preferred link. To do this, go to Layout -> Edit HTML, press [CTRL+F3] to find the code below and change it to your link.
For example,
<li><a href=’#'>Edit</a></li>
change to
<li><a href=’http://www.bloggerstyles.com’>Green Light Template</a></li>
<li id=’current’><a expr:href=’data:blog.homepageUrl’>Home</a></li>
<li><a expr:href=’data:blog.homepageUrl + "feeds/posts/default"’>Posts RSS</a></li>
Proper Display of Newer/ Older Link, Backlinks, Email Post Links, and Quick Editing
We can test these criteria by activate following features:
Newer/ Older Link:
If we publish 2 posts, set the post on the main page in the ‘Formatting’ section, then we would see the newer/ older link on the main page of the blog.
Backlinks:
This feature is available in Settings> Comments> Backlinks.
Email Post Links, Quick Editing:
These feature are both available in Settings> Basic.
We need to test this as every template designer and converter has to add this feature into the template’s code manually.
Proper Display of Blog Archive and Followers Gadget
The Blog Archive and Followers Gadget are both available in the ‘Add Gadget’ section. We need to test this because almost every template adapted from Wordpress cannot interpret the Blog Archive directly (different <ul> and <li> alignment), so the converter would always need to change the code to make the Blog Archive and Followers Gadget view normally in the blog.
