When you go to Configure Blog Posts ignore the first date option under Post Page Options, go down two more lines to the time box. This is the area where you can add and edit your gadgets. Within the body of the template "Blog Posts" section, click on Edit. It is within these controls you can change how the date/time is shown within each post. Hope that makes sense and hope everyone can get their template fixed!
