Configure ‘Featured-video’
Copy the video’s embed code link, then access into ‘Layout’ and under the ‘Page Element’, clicks on the ‘Edit’ of the ‘Featured-video’, paste the code then ‘Save’ to show the video.

I am using Primus 1 for blogger and I love the way it looks on chrome. However I am trying to change the links color on the very bottom. There is a black background with black links. First is how do I slow down the flash part … some of my readers are complaining it moves too fast and they don’t even know what was a featured story.

I have downloaded your latest version (1.02). However, the information contained in both the Version note and the Read Me have not been of much assistance. For example, the lines of code that one should replace don’t seem to exist at all (or perhaps not in the format that you have outlined). Hello, excellent template. I need your help. I cannot figure out how to either place the ad to the left of the top banner ( or remove it altogether?) Also..I cannot get the featured content slider to work…can you please help?

yeah i got the same problem with puteri.. an error occured upon uploading the xml file… message such as something like these “Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.” Need help here…thanks alot

However, on IE7 the catmenucontainer is sitting over my header that I just added. doesn’t do this in any other browser. Does the template need divs built in?

Sure, you can make the flash/slider speed slower, but you have to change the code inside the slider.js and host it on your own hosting account/server.

using the zinmag primus v1.02.
Problems inserting pics into features slider, as well as the square ad spaces and other ad spaces. I could actually use some info and basic ad insertion into the mini square spots adn others. Bu ti really need to get the slider figured out. I have photobucket and inserted into the html but a generic photobucket logo comes up and other times the pic has gone into slider it is too large or not aligned. PLEASE HELP.

The Primus template is awesome. Thank you. I’m trying to figure out why I get the Internet Explorer 8 message “The Webpage cannot be…” which pops up in the header area. I also see the the same IE message on your demo here when I run it. Can anyone please tell me what’s causing it and how I can get rid of it? By blog is still on private because it’s pretty messy right now — still building. Thank you.

Thanks for your response. So the Internet Explorer Message reads: “The webpage cannot be”. That’s it. The message gets cut off. If you run your Zinmag Primus demo (preview) on a PC with Windows Internet Explorer you will see the same message. It appears in the header — pretty large — at the top of the page. Once you figure it out can you please tell me how I can change the code so that the message doesn’t show up on my website? That would be great. Thank you! Laurene
Hi we are pulling our hair out trying to figure out how to get rid of the white ad box in the header. We just want to place an image in the header bar but everytime we upload an image a white box appears! This is holding us up and we are having to keep our blog private…. we have searched forums and we can see this is a problem but we don’t seem to find any solutions. can you please help us ?

I just wanted to know two little things…
1. When a user clics on a post, he’s redirected to a page where you can only see that post, my question is, Can I make the slideshow (slider) dissapear only on those pages?
2. If I have a 2 paragraphs post, and i just want to have 3 or 4 lines on the homepage and a “read more” linked to the entire post, is it possible?

First off, like many here have said, this is a wonderful template. And it has been working beautifully for me until very recently, within the last week or so.
The “featured content” slider decided to stop working and is just stuck on the first slide. I’ve tried going into the code and comparing it with a fresh template I just downloaded and saw no difference (or very minor differences that I made but also didn’t seem to work).
I’ve also tried opening my blog in both Firefox and Google Chrome, and the “featured content” slider doesn’t work in either. I don’t know what’s wrong.
Can you provide me with any help and/or advice?

Like Alb my slider just stopped working in the last few days. I haven’t updated any of the code on my blog since it was working fine last month so I would think it isn’t soemthing I have done to cause it to stop. Another thing that makes me think it’s not me is that every blog using this template that I go to does the same thing. They all tell me that Internet Explorer has blocked me from viewing content with security certificate errors. Any help resolving this problem would be greatly appreciated! hi, I dun claim myself to be an expert at html/css but would like to attempt to reply to those who wish to:
(i) remove the white box at the “headbanner” section (and replace with google ads).
(ii) solve the slider issue.
For (i), the colour is controlled via the “headbanner” tag. Change the colour to “#f4f4f4″ (the grey bkgrd) instead of “#fff” (the default white backgrd). For googld ads, i tried copying and pasting the google ad code under but the ads didn’t display for some reason. I had to manually change the template to allow “Add gadget” in the headbanner position and added in the adsense gadget that is built in “Blogger”. This finally worked.
For (ii), there seems to be a problem with the javascript (server is web2feel.com for e template i downloaded) that came with the template i downloaded from btemplates.com. Found another site that was serving the same javascript and i changed the default location to the new one in the template. Done.
