Understanding blogger template
Nice Template
exiting quality template. i love it.
I cannot open up the zip file. I have never had any trouble opening up your zip files before. Any ideas?
Hi Mikkal, I personally go to download and unzip the file and found no problem at all. Not sure what went wrong.

Arthur
what do you mean by “Auto adjustment within the post area”? any explanation for this? thanks
Hi Rangga, please refer to this page for the explanation for this: http://www.bloggerstyles.com/template-info/optional-criteria/oversized-images-within-post-area/
Regards,
Arthur
is this template seo friendly i.e. h1 and h2 tag have optimized. if not then plz tell other template available and if not plz provide.
thanks
Thanks for your suggestion! It’s hard to say this template is SEO friendly based on the optimized h tag, but this template has h1 tag applied on the blog title and h2 tag applied on the post title. Hope this helps and love to hear more from you, thanks!
Alvaris Falcon

another great template from falconhive. they are truly the best. it got a nice white design and some advanced feature. but what i don’t like is that javascript headline rotators thing because its really hard to find a good host to host the js files. google pages is ok but not much brandwidth, also i don;t really like the idea on getting the script from another site (web2feel in this case) anyway thats just me.
again thank you for posting it. 4.8/5 from me.
Thanks for your rating and comments! I personally have the same opinion with you, and would love to suggest Blogger team to provide reliable space for us to host the external JavaScript and CSS file. I believe this surely would increase the standard of the Blogger template!
Alvaris Falcon
I have a problem with the slide feature. it tends to overlap and is not showing properly. Please help. Thanks
Thanks for your report! The slide would normally run for 2 rounds then stop showing. Can I have your blog address to get the issue further? Thanks!

Hello, Blogger Styles Team, I was looking around the web and found your site. It looks like your is the best in terms of providing a completely free and immediate response to your readers queries. I will download this template and use it for my blog in a day or two. I hope can can tweak the template further.
Rgds.
I am having some problems with the template.
Firstly, the code that I am supposed to edit for the feature content is not in the template even when I “expand widget templates”:
POST-TITLE-HERE
Posted by Author On Month – Day – Year
POST-SUMMARY-HERE
Secondly, no matter what I do I cannot get the 468×60 adsense banner to show up.
I very much appreciate how you have made this template available, and any help you can give woudl definitely be appreciated.
M
I solved the 468×60 adsense problem.
But I am still having huge problems with the feature content section.
The section of code in the instructions is nowhere in the template.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks!
M
another excellent template! well done! however i just want to know how do i expand the header from the current limited width of 500px? I’m trying to replace it with an image that is about 900px wide. thanks.
Thanks for your words! You can actually expand the header width by changing the width of the ‘.blogname’, enjoy customizing!

i encountred a problem with the slider :s the title background is white , so it should be transparent !!!!
can u please fix that 4 me?
http://www.bloggerdna.blogspot.com this is my blog
thank you
i encountred a bug in the featured content slide , i couldn’t find the code mantionded in the tutorial eventhough i checked the EXPAND WIDGET. , so i clicked on EDIT under the image in my blog and i pasted the code there ( edit element of Featured-content1 ) and replaced entries , and it works
befor that, it shows me the Featured-content with a white bg , and it should be transparent , so i erased this widget title.
so please edit the tutorial hack because its not working (for me at leaset) i don’t know if anyone has installed this widget yet :s
Thanks for your report and showing the correct way! You are actually on the right track to configure the Feature Content section. I have updated the post to show the same way, thanks!
Alvaris Falcon
The code in the instructions for the “Configure Feature-content” is not in the template.
How should we set up the Featured Content section?
Thanks for your report, I have updated the post to provide the right way.

Hi this is a great template. Yet, I am having trouble finding the images to put in the template. I can’t find “add,” “rss,” “pmore,” “postinf” and “spread.” I am new to this, so I don’t know if I’m missing something. Appreciate the help.
Thanks for your words! It’s okay to leave the ‘add’, ‘rss’, ‘pmore’ and ‘postinf’ image, as they are just there to fit some special purpose.
Alvaris Falcon
Can anyone tell me how to get rid off that white rectangular on the right-top of the template, the one that is next to the Blog title. Thanks.
I’ve been trying to get this theme to work but so far have encountered some problems.
I noticed that images that are listed in the codes are missing from the image folder. Images of add.png, pmore.jpg, postinf.jpg and spread.jpg is nowhere to be found and the image (which currently hosted in Photobucket) will not load as it has reach it’s limit.
Then the featured content, even after following this instruction;
Configure ‘Feature-content’Access into ‘Layout’ and under the ‘Edit HTML’ tab, check the ‘Expand Widget Templates’, then press [CTRL+F3] to find the code below and edit it with corresponding item.
POST-TITLE-HERE
Posted by Author On Month - Day - Year
POST-SUMMARY-HERE
The codes are just simply not there! So I’m really at lost on how to edit those content. I hope you guys can help, it’s an awesome template and I really wanna use it.
Thanks for your report, you are very good with observation! The images you mentioned are even not appeared in the original theme, I thought the author has extra purpose on them but they should not influence the entire appearance.
For the Featured Content section, I’m sorry that it’s my very typo, and I have updated the post to show the easy and right way, enjoy!

Hello,
I’ve tried downloading this but can’t access the zip file. When I try to extract the files it says the “compressed folder is invalid or corrupted”. Please help!
Hijabee, I have no idea why some of you having problems extracting the zip file while most of you have no problem with it. Could it be because the zip software I used is not compatible with yours? Anyway, I zipped the files using another software (Freezip) and uploaded it to the server. Please download it and unzip the file and see.
Arthur
Has anyone gotten the featured-content section at the top of this template to work?
If so, please explain it to me…..
Sorry to mislead you, I have updated the post to show the correct method to configure the Featured Content section, thanks!
Alvaris Falcon
I can’t get the feature-content section to work.
Thanks for your report, I have updated the post to show the right method.
Alvaris Falcon
ok i’ve figured out how to get rid of that white rectangle bit. you simply need to go ‘edit html’ and delete the google adsense script. then to increase the size of your header, just change the default 500px to 1000px if you wish so.
the info you’ve given about how to edit the featured content here is incorrect. to edit the featured content section, you first need to logged on to the blogger editing page of your blog. and then open the blog on a new page. you will see the usual quick edit function on your blog. so when you see one on the featured content area, just click on it to input the html displayed above.
it is truly an amazing theme and just takes a lil more time tweaking it to your liking.
Wow, thanks for your great tips and report! It’s just like what you said, perfect step to configure the Featured Content section, thanks for your contribution!
Alvaris Falcon
Such a nice template, but I can’t find the featured content in the template I downloaded. I followed your instructions (expanding wigdets and so on) but I can’t find that part of the code…

Could you help me to edit the featured test? please
Thanks for your report! I’m sorry that it was my typo, and I have updated the post to show the right way to configure the Featured Content section, enjoy!

A bit of a confusing approach.
Any widgets are not shown and somehow are in the “featured” area. Also the feature code you provided doesn’t work. It shows the text, doesn’t show the picture and the ‘posted by and date’ part is out of the box.
Thanks for the reports! We have upgraded the template and provided an easier way for you to configure the Featured Content section, hope this helps.
Alvaris Falcon
on the page elements page, there is only one box for the featured content and it is for ‘Featured-content1’ and none for the rest. So the code only worked for the first featured content and the rest show up blank. How would I go about fixing this?
The key is to access the main page of the blog, which you can see the featured-content 1~5 is displaying according to its number sequence, and you can set up the featured-content one by one. You can refer to ‘Configure Featured-content’ part in the post, hope this helps!
Alvaris Falcon
please check the download contnet… when i download and upload it on blogger template.. strange characters come and xml error reported… please chkc

We have uploaded another zip file to the server, hope you can download and upload it completely, thanks!

Hi, I’m in the process of modifing this template and i have found a couple of problems.
In the slider, i pasted the code just like it says in this post and i get the title and text right just like in the example, but the text “posted by…” is in a color just like the background and can’t be read, plus is a little moved to the left, does someone know how to fix this?
Here’s my blog so you can see what i’m talking about:
http://horizoncine.blogspot.com/
The other thing I need to know is how to write text in the slider and be able to make a full stop and new paragraph under it, I tried putting STOP (.) and ENTER to start writing under it but it puts all the text in the same line.
I would apreciate if someone could give me a hand, Thanks in advance.
Thanks for your precious report! I have upgraded the template to version 1.01 to solve the issue you mentioned, you can download now and enjoy customizing!

This is fantastic! Just a couple of questions if you don’t mind! The featured content doesn’t show up quite like yours; the picture doesn’t show up, and there’s that great big box around the title! Oh! Also, do you mind telling me how to use those four boxes for pictures, mate? Oy thanks!
Thanks for your words and report! I have upgraded the Zinmag Primus template to version 1.01 which solves issues you mentioned, you can upgrade the template now and set up the Featured Content section by follow the tutorial in this post, thanks!

Is anyone else having problems downloading this file? I was unable to download as it shows as an invalid file, then had my neighbor down load it and he was able to extract a .dat file from the zip which obviously does not work in blogger. Any other ideas?
@TechnicianBrian
there is no problem on the file, i have downloaded it on both windows and mac using firefox, ie, safari, chrome. and every download worked fine. use winrar or 7-zip and check if you get it or not. if not i can upload it to rapidshare or another host and give it to you. just leave an comment here
Thanks Opman, I was able to get it using winrar on my second computer.
no problem. glad you were able to get it
Thanks for the download and report! We have uploaded another zip file to the server for you to download, hope this can be a solution.

Ok I’ve read everything and I still can’t figure this out. On the featured section I can not get my images to show. I use an image hosting site at smugmug which provides links to whatever size of the image I want to use and I’ve tried different ones to no avail.
In the code I’m simply inserting a link to my image such as this
Is this correct or better yet what am I doing wrong??
Thanks in advance and I really love the layout if I can get it working!
I’m glad to hear that you are using this template, and thanks for your report! I have fixed the image missing issue by upgrade the template to version 1.01, you can download now to solve the problem, thanks!
Alvaris Falcon
use google pages to upload the javascript files
I followed your instructions and the featured content is working… but after a few “rounds”, the slider collapses and does weird things… the placement of the pictures is not right…
Can you help me??
